For an instant, I am. The light touches me gently and I live, burst and shine. This constant, irreversible, rhythmic drift from being to not. Only the memories left. Escaping desires. The love and the pain. I only have an instant of life. So please. This film is an ode to the rhythm of being.

L’Oréal Paris today announces the launch of their Infallible Matte Resistance Lipstick with an ambitious new brand experience in partnership with London’s leading immersive district, Outernet.
Launching across two full days, Friday 8th and Saturday 9th December in Outernet’s 'The Now Building', the activation will evoke the stunning architecture of the City of Love across the floor-to-ceiling wrap-around screens as visitors experience the magic of Paris.
Orchestrated by an integrated McCann Worldgroup team, the immersive experience has been led and created by McCann London and built by experiential agency Momentum Worldwide. Over a period of six-minutes, the film transitions from sunrise to sunset featuring the latest iconic ambassador for L’Oréal Paris, Kendall Jenner, alongside an equally mesmerising and iconic Eiffel Tower sequence.
The space also hosts the online viral sensation Citroen 2CV Infallible Matte lipstick car, now in real life. The car swept across our screens earlier this year, leaving a lipstick trail of is it real or not? The Parisian theme would of course not be complete without free café au lait and macarons and an opportunity to claim your very own Matte Infallible lipstick – Because you’re worth it!

A bloke fuels both himself and the minds of tomorrow in this well-judged piece of work. A bowl of Quaker Oats gets him going in the morning, as he heads to the gym to work up a sweat before jumping straight into the classroom. Balancing a passion for the ring and a passion for your job works up an appetite, after all.
Dermot Kennedy's 'Don't tell me this is all for nothing' packs an emotional punch, and a textured look, and a focus on small visual details elevates the film.

Morrisons celebrate the behind the scenes actors who make Christmas happen in this playful outing. The film focuses on food, with Farmer Christmas playing a major role in making the big day special with his home-grown feasts. His sleigh-riding counterpart still features, of course, but it's the culinary version who takes the spotlight here.
Charming twists on familiar festive staples bring a lovely energy to the ad, as a pair of young friends explore the magical farm where Christmas dinner is grown. From Morrisons trucks in place of reindeer to the farmer's distinctive red beanie, it's a compelling take on well-known tropes.
The final sit-down feels like a reward after the flashes of magical realism and well-judged VFX, bringing viewers back down to earth. A brother passing on the legend of Farmer Christmas to a younger sibling is sweetly done too, bringing a wholesome narrative streak to the fore.

Briefed with the vision to re-create The Nutcracker suite like no other – created entirely from the sounds of the various skilled engineers and craftspeople at work in the Bentley factory.
From the snip of leather scissors to the hum of the sewing machines, many of the unique sounds from Bentley’s carbon neutral factory have been utilised to produce the new version of this Christmas classic.
Other sounds from this blend of traditional skills and modern technology include wheel nut guns, paint sprayers, electric windows being tested, doors opening and closing, and the many parts of a Bentley being slotted, screwed and stitched into place.
At first light we hear birds singing over the solar panels of the factory and to conclude, there’s a contribution from the sound that warms every engineer and craftsperson’s heart – the roar of the kettle and the tinkle of a teaspoon in a mug.

Winter Hill is a story about a relentless and driven young woman who finally opens up about the realities of living with a chronic disease, both physical, emotional and social, in the face of government disability cuts and the feeling of being left behind whilst everyone moves forward.
’Alive in Every Drop’ consists of a trio of cinematic films shot by James Marsh which drag the classic caffeinated drink from its staid image of clinking china, tea cosies and raised pinkies through a series of ’tea moments’.
This includes a morning dance routine powered by Twinings Glow blend as well as a moment of serenity on the beach in the company of the Calm blend. Rounding off the series for the Focus blend is MC Nino who conducts a live performance with his cuppa in hand.
Filmed with a focus on health the promotional work positions Twinings as a wellness brand while dispelling entrenched stereotypes of tea drinkers by capturing people enjoying moments of exercise, reflection and concentration.

A damaged psychoanalyst is forced to look inside himself and face his own demons when a detained killer gets under his skin.
Suppression is a short film situating an emotionally damaged psychoanalyst who is forced to confront a murderer who has been detained in a correctional facility. Described by others as very sick and beyond help, John Burns seeks to get to the route of criminal Max’s supposed crimes. However, as the two men speak more frequently, John is unwillingly forced to confront his own demons once Max begins to crawl under his skin. Both bleak and belligerent, Julia Varvara’s recent short film feels all-knowing as it deals with questions of life and faith and the connection between the two.
Atmosphere is a crucial element of this film and Varvara’s direction is fantastic in ensuring that the look and feel of this short is overwhelming and bleak. Tension between John and Max is consistently built up over the nineteen minutes we watch them within the dingy prison walls. Dark and gloomy camera shots of rain lapping at the window and pregnant pauses in an engaging script contrast well with the intense conversations held across tables. The intensity is electric as we feel as though we are stood in the room, with artistic shots zooming in on each character so as to entirely access their vulnerability. We can read every thought and emotion on John and Max’s faces which is a testament to both the direction of the film and their stellar performances.
Gary Beadle gives an amazingly raw performance as a broken man just trying to do his best to survive. His character, John, struggles to connect with his wife and his increasing discomfort is attributed to warped criminal Max forcing him to question his purpose and existence. John appears to be at a crossroads and Max appeals to an insecurity or weakness in him and therefore leaves him fearful. Max himself claims to be a God-fearing Angel from Heaven and confronts John about sin, rejection and debates surrounding personal faith and God’s intended plan. This film boldly pits two very different men against each other to ask these philosophical questions, along with the worry of taking loved ones for granted. As Max continually attempts to blur the lines between doctor and patient, and as John becomes increasingly more frustrated, viewers are sucked into a waiting game as hostility and suspense threaten to leave us guessing.
With its content is bleak and hateful, as well as pensive, Suppression could be construed as a difficult film to place or categorise. However, it does seem to offer some consolation with the challenging topics it confronts and for that reason, along with some excellent acting, it is worth a watch.

In the Middle East and North Africa, only 38 percent of youth believe their education gives them the skills they need to enter the workforce. By 2020, one in five jobs in the Arab world will require digital skills that aren’t widely available today. Many women are contributing to the innovation coming out of the Arab world, yet this region has among the lowest female economic involvement globally.
To address the growing skills gap in the region’s workforce, and to help ensure that opportunities created by technology are available to everyone, we’ve launched Maharat min Google (the English translation is “Building Capabilities with Google”). It’s an initiative to help Arabic speakers, specifically women and young people, get ready for future job opportunities, advance their careers, or grow their businesses. Maharat min Google will provide free courses, tools and in-person digital skills training to students, educators, job seekers and businesses. The online platform includes over 100 lessons and explanatory videos covering a range of digital marketing skills including search engine marketing, social media, video, e-commerce and more.
